Long Range Receiver Option

Special situations require special equipment..

Our regular wireless IR detectors have a range of 500m, or more, dependant on location and situation, but if you need a detector to be much further from the main receiver, the long range detectors are for you, as they come with an external transmitter which allows radio range to be boosted substantially.

The long range detectors are very similar to the regular detectors, with just a few technical differences. Mounting the transmitter high allows greater range.

The radio transmission of the long range detectors is approximately 1Km + , although with a relay and pager system, or special aerials, we can extend this range further. During your consultation with us, we will advise you on the best route to take, depending on the layout of your land.
